Everything you need to know before visiting Skin & Soul Medical
Skin & Soul Medical is a holistic, private cosmetic clinic offering a range of aesthetic treatments, including injectables, laser therapies, and facials.

Founded by nurse practitioner Lucie Royer, the clinic focuses on providing a personal and relaxing experience, aiming to enhance each patient’s natural beauty.
They have a studio in Sunderland, and have just opened a new one in Newcastle.

My experience at Skin & Soul Medical
I recently visited Skin & Soul Medical’s new studio in Newcastle for a skin resurfacing treatment with Juliette; it was my first time trying the skin resurfacing treatment– and it is not at all what I expected, in the best way possible!
I used to be nervous about anything that I thought sounded too ‘harsh’ for my skin – chemical peels, laser, anything like that – but since turning 40 I have decided to be brave and just go for it!
And in all honesty I should have done it much sooner!

What’s skin resurfacing treatment like
This treatment was nothing like I feared. Gentle, soft, and SUPER RELAXING!
That head massage with oils towards the end was the best head massage I have ever had! Ever!
And the glow afterwards? Unreal. I thought my skin may be irritated or peeling but it was (and still is – a week post treatment) actually glowing!

Juliette who looked after me, first discussed my skin concerns with me and advised the pHformula Skin Resurfacing (a 60 mins facial). And she was amazing! She’s actually recently completed a degree in advanced skin aesthetics and was telling me all about how this treatment works from inside layers of your skin out which is why there’s no peeling or irritation, just improved, glowy skin!
They use medical-grade skincare and tailor everything to your skin’s needs – the treatment is effective but not harsh on your skin.

Aesthetic treatments in a very aesthetically pleasing clinic
And can we take a moment for the decor of dreams? The reception and treatment rooms are just stunning.
Beautifully decorated with minimalistic but warm vibe, modern but cozy and very inviting.
