What you need to know about Krispies Fish & Chips
Fish and chips is such a classic, and it is definitely one of my go to when I fancy some comfort food.
We recently found a new chippy which is worth a try – Krispies Fish & Chips. It only opened in March 2025, so is still a new kid on the block.
The shop’s got a classic, friendly chippy vibe but with a modern twist and clean, simple decor.

Krispies Fish & Chips menu
The menu is simple and has everything you may need from a fish and chips shop.
We went for:
- Cod and chips

- Burger

- Sausage
- Salad

- Curry sauce
- Tartar sauce

The food was cooked freshly and I loved the crispiness of the batter, which didn’t feel too heavy.
The portion of chips was a great size and both of our fish were actually huge. I also liked how they separate the fish from the chips in the box.
It was also nice to have a side salad which was lovely and fresh; you can also get it with their coleslaw which was rich and creamy.

The food was tasty and portion so generous that that we didn’t even manage to finish it all.
If you’re Forrest Hall based and fancy a chippy tea (or lunch), give these guys a try.
