Looking for top rated facial treatments in Newcastle? Jesmond Aesthetics offers exceptional skincare and rejuvenation services, including their relaxing Signature Facial (which I will tell you all about right now!) Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, and so much more.
The owner – Dominique – who is also the face of the business, is focused on delivering the best results for your skin, while making your visit super relaxed. She is very knowledgeable (Harley Street trained and CPD accredited) and you feel really well looked after.

From the moment I walked into the salon, she made me feel at ease, and you can see her passion for skincare and enthusiasm for what she does, which reassures you that you are in good hands! And it helps that she only uses the best, medical grade products – more on that soon too.
Services offered at Jesmond Aesthetics
Jesmond Aesthetics offers a range of premium treatments to help you feel great in your own skin, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, microneedling, skin boosters like Profhilo, and Vitamin B12 injections. With a focus on natural-looking results and personalised care – which I think most of us find so important – each treatment is designed to meet your unique aesthetic goals.
Dominique provides tailored services to help you achieve youthful, glowing skin, and can help you smooth fine lines, restore volume, improve skin texture, and boost hydration.

Signature Facial at Jesmond Aesthetics
So let’s get to the point – I visited Jesmond Aesthetics studio for the Signature Facial and can tell you that it is the ultimate skin rejuvenation experience!
This treatment includes a combination of advanced techniques and premium skincare products (Dominique is so passionate about only using the best products in her salon) to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate your skin. It is ideal for anyone looking for a refresh, as it leaves your face GLOWING.
I can attest to this – my skin was feeling fresh the next day, and sooooo soft! And the feeling only improved with time. I am day 5 post treatment writing this, and my skin feels lovely; it is a joy doing my morning and evening skincare routine as the products go on so smoothly.
As the facial includes some microneedling and exfoliation, there is some redness immediately after, but that disappears within hours, leaving lovely skin.
The treatment takes about an hour, with many different steps that all work together to improve the overall health and appearance of your skin.
My favourite parts include:
- Steam – Steam is applied to open pores, which helps with deep cleaning and makes extractions easier. I find it super relaxing.
- Massage – A facial and a scalp massage is included at different points during the facial to relax the skin and stimulate blood circulation, promoting a healthy glow. I love it as it really helps to de-puff my face. And the scalp massage is just the most relaxing feeling in the world!
- Mask – clay mask that was part of this treatment felt so comforting and cooling on my face.
- Microneedling – it always feels a little unpleasant at the start but as soon as you get used to the feeling, I actually really enjoy it. It was the first time I had some microneedling done on my neck and it was a lot less painful than I anticipated (in fact – I couldn’t even say it was painful at all!). I will definitely be doing this again. Dominique also checks with you frequently to see whether the pressure is OK for you, so don’t worry if you’ve not had microneedling before, or had it and found it too much.

What sets Jesmond Aesthetics apart
- Spa like atmosphere – you feel like you’re in a spa, not an aesthetic studio. Everything is super clean and sterile with Dominique changing gloves between each step of the facial (the extra care here is another level!) but you don’t feel like you’re in a clinical setting so common in aesthetic places. It feels super serene (I could have easily dozed off if I wasn’t chatting as much, ha)
- The attention to detail; only the best products are used here – if you’re into skincare you’d have heard about Obagi products – and Dominique actually plans to sell those medical grade products when she moves into her new location very soon.
- Skin scan. Even though I booked in for a facial only, Dominique offered me a complimentary skin scan to advise what treatment would be best and identify any areas to focus on. It is an advanced equipment which takes very detailed photos of your face so the practitioner can really see what the skin needs, rather than relying on what’s visible to the naked eye only. I was super pleased with the results of the scan and the advice Dominique gave me following that; I am actually going to start using a medical grade skincare, purely based on Dominique’s expert advice. She is Harley Street-trained and CPD-accredited specialist, so you just know you are getting top care and advice.
- Goody bag with aftercare instructions and cute products to care for your skin after your treatment. It is a lovely touch that you don’t get everywhere. And who doesn’t like a goody bag, right?
- There’s no hard upsell here. We’ve all been to places where you just can’t wait to leave because they try to get you to book or buy something at every step. Dominique doesn’t pressure you into booking or buying anything extra at all! She simply gives her advice in a relaxed, easy-going way.

- Book in Advance – Jesmond Aesthetics is a popular clinic, so book your appointment early to get your preferred date and time. I booked mine few weeks before the treatment and have another one scheduled in a few weeks, just to secure my spot!
- Consultation First – If you’re new to the clinic, it’s recommended to schedule a consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals and determine the best treatment options for your skin. Dominique is so helpful and can advise on best services to meet your skin care goals. The consultation is free and can be booked on her website. And ask for the skin scan too – you will not regret it!
