As much as I love to try new places, I make no secret of the fact that I have my favourite spots and go back to them over and over again. Revolution de Cuba is definitely one of them.

Why Revolution de Cuba is one of my favourite spots
I still remember our very first visit to Revolution de Cuba in Liverpool and immediately fell in love with the place. I am a huge Bloody Mary fan, and at the time, it was the best Bloody Mary I have had!
So I was super excited when they opened in Newcastle in 2017, and we have been more times than I can count, including a couple of New Year Eve celebrations (NYE is my favourite night of the year, so it needs to be spent in the best venues!). We have since visited in Glasgow, and what I love about this venue is that they are always consistent, wherever you are.
Most recently, we visited to try their festive brunch. We’ve done their normal brunch a few times, and it was always good – the staff are very quick in serving drinks and take your order before you even finish your previous drink, which is equally as good as it is dangerous (but a must for a good bottomless, right?) And the drinks are fantastic. All these years since trying my first Revolution de Cuba Bloody Mary – and the quality is consistent every single time in every venue we visited.
A festive feast with a Cuban twist
Revolution de Cuba’s festive bottomless brunch is everything you’d want in a brunch.
The food menu is full of delicious, Latin-inspired options, including classic breakfast favourites and some creative Cuban-inspired dishes.

You start with a Mimosa and salsa & chips, then choose one brunch dish and enjoy 90 minutes of bottomless drinks.
I opted for the Veggie quesadilla, which comes beautifully presented with a portion of patatas bravas (my favourite dish in the entire world). Always a good shout.
Ryan opted for a sweet option – French toast, which was warm and served covered in chocolate and ice cream.

Festive cocktails and classic favourites to sip on
Of course, the best part about the festive bottomless brunch is the drinks! With an impressive selection of cocktails available, you’re guaranteed to find something you love.
At £35 pp, you can mix and match from the drinks selection:
• Glass of fizz
• Mimosa
• Aperol spritz
• Wray rum punch
• Merry cherry cuba libre
• Cuban sangria
• Tequila & ting
• Watermelon cooler
• Strawberry daiquiri served frozen
• San Miguel
• Orchard thieves
• Baule-ini

You can also go premium for an extra £7.50, which we did as I couldn’t do bottomless at Revs without a Bloody Mary and a margarita.

As a nice surprise, at the end of the 90 minutes, we also received a tray of strawberry margarita and spicy mango shots with lemon and dried raspberries, which were actually one of my highlights of the night. Super tasty and perfect for sipping. Lovely end to a bottomless brunch.

Why Revolution de Cuba’s festive brunch is worth it
We had a great experience at the festive brunch; the drink selection was amazing, and they were all lovely, the food was fab, as always, and the service was quick and really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for both casual dining, bottomless brunch, and, if you make it in time before Christmas, their festive brunch.
