A perfect dinner date at Saltwater Fish Company

Well, if this isn’t our kind of a dinner date… 12 Lindisfarne oysters and the freshest fries I’d had in my life. We both love oysters, and these were super fresh and flavoursome.

The ambiance

The ambiance at Saltwater Fish Company is both chic and inviting. The restaurant is located within Fenwick’s Food Hall, which means you can easily treat yourself after a shopping spree. The space is modern but cozy, and the atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, making it a perfect spot to enjoy fresh seafood.

The attentive service and knowledgeable staff further added to the experience. I really enjoyed their wine recommendations. The sparkling wine isn’t usually my thing, but it was actually delicious paired with the oysters.

The freshest seafood

Whether you’re a seafood fan or maybe trying oysters for the first time, Saltwater Fish Company is a must-visit. The Lindisfarne oysters were super fresh, with just the right amount of brininess—a real taste of the sea. The fries were also perfectly crispy, complementing the seafood beautifully. I never realised how well fries go with oysters until I had them here… I’ll never look back!

I also really like that the Saltwater Fish Company is located within Fenwick. We always pop into the food hall whenever we’re in town and it’s such a lovely break when you’re having a browse in the shops. The restaurant is bright, well-decorated, and spotlessly clean – it always looks so inviting!
