We absolutely love fusion cuisines and Indo-Chinese food is definitely one of those combinations, so we were super eager to try Wok India.

A very interesting menu
The menu looks pretty exciting, and we went for a selection of starters and mains.
We had the paneer tikka (I recently developed a taste for this Indian cheese, and it was delicious roasted in the tandoor along with peppers and onions) and the tender and mouth watering dynamite chicken for starters.

For mains, we opted for the firecracker cauliflower with noodles, which was the highlight of the whole selection for me! Super flavoursome, the texture was perfectly al dente, and the noodles were beautifully cooked—a truly stunning combination! Our second option was the station lamb curry with rice, which actually smelt insanely good! There was so much depth in its flavour.

We also shared tandoori veg momos, which were a lovely side. Steamed, then coated in a delicious tandoori masala, and finally roasted in the oven—they were absolutely gorgeous! Both the taste and the texture were just perfect.
And of course, we had to sample their poppadom box and a selection of sauces because it couldn’t be a true Indian feast without those!

A great dining experience
The food was beautiful, the place is very inviting, and the staff are lovely. It is primarily a takeaway, but there is a designated section for sitting in if that’s your preference. It is beautifully decorated, bright, and we found it to be spotlessly clean too.
We spoke to the manager, Suman, as well as one of the chefs, who told us a little more about the dishes we opted for. While most of the menu is Indo-Chinese, they have recently introduced some Indian curries. Having sampled one of those, we can confidently guess it’ll be a big hit in the area because the food is stunning!
You can order on their website and call in to collect, but they’re also on Deliveroo, Just Eat, and UberEATS if you like your food delivered.
