A fun date night at Treetop Golf in Metrocentre
If you’re looking for a fun, active date night, this place may be exactly what you’re after.

Our night at Treetop Golf
Our evening at Treetop Golf in Metrocentre started at the marketplace-themed bar, where we tried some of their cocktails. The festive Espresso Snowtini was a delicious twist on the classic, and my choice of Tweetopia, which is a ‘tropical twist on a Long Island Iced Tea’ and was right up my street. They were both delicious and quite strong. That’s how I justify losing the game anyway!

The golf experience
Treetop Golf offers two 18-hole courses to choose from: Tropical Trail, and Ancient Explorer which we opted for. They are both challenging enough to keep you on your toes but not too easy so you don’t lose interest. The special effects throughout the course added an extra layer of entertainment. Even though the voice playfully mocking me for missing a shot was not my friend, it definitely added to the fun atmosphere.

At the end of both courses, there’s a special 19th hole where you can win a free game—and guess who did it! No, not me. But Ryan did. Needless to say we’re already planning to go back so I can beat him this time.
A fun activity for everyone
We had such a fun evening; I’d definitely recommend it for a date night, a family day out, or a catch-up with friends. As we sipped on our cocktails, I heard people booking in for their work team-building, so this place really is for everyone.
The combination of delicious cocktails, interactive courses, and friendly competition made it a really fun outing. Whether you’re looking to impress a date or enjoy quality time with loved ones, Treetop Golf in Metrocentre is an experience that’s both entertaining and engaging.
Location: Treetop Golf is located inside the Metrocentre, Upper Qube, Garden Walk, Gateshead, NE11 9XY.
