Best for: Metrocentre, things to do in Metrocentre, gift ideas, self care
We tried permanent jewellery at David Summerfield in Metrocentre; it’sa lovely shop that’s well worth a visit, not just for permanent jewellery – they have a huge selection of jewellery on offer.

Permanent jewellery fitting – step by step
Firstly – you pick your chain.
There are quite a few to choose from; from super dainty to thicker chains, so there is something for any taste.
I chose a lovely, simple chain for my anklet (my go to summer accessory); our other choice was a heart shaped link chain for a bracelet.
Next – you decide on a charm.
You can then choose to add a charm to your anklet/bracelet. I went for a little semi-precious stone, our other choice was a cute butterfly charm.
We both went for silver, but you can also go for gold plated or solid gold.

Finally – your chosen jewellery gets fitted.
A member of staff will adjust the length of the chain, making sure you’re happy with it.
The links then get welded so you don’t have to worry about clasp; it’s pretty seamless.
The process takes seconds, and the piece is fitted on your wrist, or ankle. Super easy and quick.
Is permanent jewellery worth the hype?
It was my first time getting permanent jewellery and I think it is a cute way to add something permanent to your everyday look!
There is no bulky clasps or worrying about clasps coming undone.
I love dainty jewellery and this is subtle but really lovely.
