Geisha Fusion, Front Street, Benton, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 8AE
If you’re looking for a place that combines delicious food, beautiful decor, and a laidback atmosphere, Geisha Fusion in Benton should definitely be on your radar.
We loved their previous location and visited for drinks before, but most recently popped in for their R&B brunch, and also their weekend breakfast deal.

A cozy start to the day
Geisha Fusion offers a relaxed, cozy setting that makes it ideal for a morning catch up over breakfast, meeting a friend for brunch, and a date night. The decor here is stunning, but the place is comfortable and not at all pretentious, which sets the tone for a great meal.

Breakfast at Geisha Fusion
The breakfast menu is available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9am to 11:45am, and has some great options.
We opted for a few different dishes, all in the name of research
- Fusion eggs – 2 poached eggs on toasted sourdough bread, crispy chorizo, guacamole, nduja and hollandaise sauce, topped with crispy onions. The chorizo was really crispy and definitely elevated the dish in the best way.

- Eggs royale – 2 poached eggs on toasted sourdough bread with smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce. The salmon was lovely and there was a good serving of it on the plate. The eggs were also perfectly runny.

- American pancakes with Nutella (we also asked for a side of fruit). The pancakes were lovely and pillow-like – it was so satisfying to cut into them. The fruit on the side added a refreshing contrast to the richness of the pancakes, so I’d definitely recommend asking for this on the side too. A great combo.

I loved the combination of flavours – both the classic options, as well as some creative twists on the breakfast dishes we know well.
And what is also great – they have a free tea and coffee offer if you spend £5 on their food.

Geisha Fusion – beyond breakfast
Geisha isn’t just about breakfast though – we love their cocktails and they have events on like their R&B brunch, which we recently went to.
It was a laidback yet lively vibe with great music to match the delicious food. And the portions were pretty big for a brunch, so you won’t leave hungry.
I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of extra fun with their brunch.

Why we keep going back
Geisha Fusion’s breakfast menu is a great way to start your weekend. From the classic eggs royale to the more adventurous fusion eggs, as well as sweet options, there’s something for anyone.
But they aren’t just about that – with events on, great selection of drinks, as well as main menu items, this place is a great choice for a date night or to catch up with friends.

And the decor is gorgeous too – even the small details like salt and pepper shakers are customised and those little things really make a big difference to the overall experience.

Tips for Visiting
- If you fancy a brunch or an evening meal, I’d definitely recommend booking as the weekends and evenings can get quite busy here. Breakfast was more of a casual affair, and if you don’t like to plan your breakfasts, you can probably walk in and will find a table.
- Breakfast is available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 9-11:45am.
- They have events on like the R&B brunch, so keep an eye out for any other things they have going on.
