Why Choose Caspian Kebab & Pud Desserts?
What better way to break your new year diet than with a great, classic takeaway, right?
I am only kidding – we’re not doing a new year diet, but even if we were, this feast would be cheat meal worthy for sure!
We heard so many good things about this place so decided to pop in on Friday night to give it a try. And what a good shout it was!
You get both savoury treats and desserts under one roof – Caspian Kebab do a whole takeaway menu including all of the classics you may want: pizzas, burgers, wraps, and a huge selection of grilled meats, while Pud Desserts do a range of desserts like waffles, shakes, and cakes.

What We Tried at Caspian Kebab & Pud Desserts
Since they have such a great reputation for those classic, comforting takeaway options, we went with:
- Hot Honey Loaded Chips
Apart from that melting mozzarella (unreal), they are also covered in feta, pepperoni, hot honey, and parsley. The combo of feta and parsley is something I never knew I was missing in my life and I am hooked!

- Naanbab (Kebab Box)
A selection of freshly cooked Chicken, Kofteh, & Donner served on top of a naan with salad, chips, and sauce.
I’ve seen pics of the Kebab box before we visited and all I could think about was the salad (I can’t go a day without having a good salad!). It’s probably the most generous portion I’ve seen served with a kebab and it was GORGEOUS. Fresh and crispy, and those spicy pickled peppers were a highlight. I might have bitten into it too enthusiastically and got all the spicy juice in my eye – but it was honestly stunning. I was dipping it in both the chilli and garlic mayo which was AMAZING.
And have you seen the steam on the freshly cooked selection of kebabs? Super tender and cooked to perfection. And the portion was enormous! Could be shared among 3 people easily.
Not to mention the fries. Perfectly crispy but also fluffy on the inside, I just loved the spice on them.

I found the box to be put together so well; everything you could want in a takeaway box, but in a neat order with everything in its place. It’s perfect if you’re sharing with someone who has different dietary preferences or just doesn’t like to mix different foods. Great idea!

Classic, Comforting Desserts
But if you think we could leave without sampling the desserts… well, we didn’t!
We went for:
- Pistachio Baklava – If you’re a baklava fan, this one’s a good one. The pistachio filling was rich and nutty, and the layers of filo pastry were perfectly crisped up and sweet, just the right balance of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth softness.

- Waffle covered in chocolate and pretzels served with gelato ice cream – The waffle was warm, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, topped with a decadent layer of chocolate and crunchy pretzels. The gelato added the perfect creamy contrast to the richness of the waffle, and it was a dream to dip the waffle into the pot of gelato and scoop it all up in one bite (some would call it playing with your food but, honestly, I am here for it). There is a reason why warm desserts go so well with cold ice cream and this is one of the dishes that is a great example of how good this combo is.

Generous portion sizes
We gave it our best shot but we couldn’t finish all of the food so had to take a doggy bag home.
Well worth a trip if you’re in the area. I like that you can have your food to take away or sit in. It was a perfect Friday takeaway treat.
Why we enjoyed our visit
The combination of delicious, comforting food and generous portions made for a fantastic experience.
I loved the freshness of the salad with the perfectly cooked hot dishes and the sauces which were gorgeously rich without being greasy or overpowering. A perfect mix of everything you may want in a takeaway.
We also loved the option to either dine in or take out, which makes this spot convenient for any mood.
